The most well-known ones are: Kotlaničko Lake, Orlovačko Lake, Štirinsko Lake, Borilovačko Lake, Lake Donje Bare, Lake Gornje Bare, Crno jezero (Black Lake), and Bijelo jezero (White Lake).
Volujak is a mountain paradise on the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, and occupies a central place in National Park Sutjeska.
One of the most popular hiking tours is the tour of the lakes Gornje and Donje Bare. The tour is a combination of the tours of mountain lakes, peaks, and lookouts, and in that sense is the most complete one.
Zelengora is famous for hiking, photography, canyoning on the river Hrčavka or even for camping near one of its lakes.
